Spencer creates because he is curious about what lies beyond the obvious in people, places, and himself. Through filmmaking and photography, he follows stories where they lead: from racetracks, events, product and brand partnerships, unfamiliar cities, and the quiet moments in between.
He partners with agencies and brands as a director, filmmaker, photographer and creative collaborator, helping shape projects from the first idea through to the final campaign. Alongside his independent creative practice, Spencer co-owns and directs Lucid Studios, a production agency built around intentional, story-led work.
A camera isn’t simply a way to show what something looked like. It is a way to hold onto what it felt like, to find beauty in light and shadow, create connection and meaning in experiences that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Each project becomes part of a larger journey: to keep discovering, push beyond the familiar, and become through the act of exploring. His hope is to create honest work that makes people feel something, look closer, and live with a little more curiosity and intention.

I don’t approach brand work as a series of disconnected deliverables. I go deep into a brand’s history, people, ambitions, and point of view to uncover the story only it can tell. From there, I build connected campaigns where every film, photograph, and touchpoint serves a larger narrative.
